This doggy nearly drove me nuts today - her uneven markings and different coloured eyes made it so difficult to get her nose, ears and eyes spaced properly...so I gave up. Near enough I decided and had fun with the colours in her scruffy coat instead.
I think it's great and, you are right, fun!

ReplyDeleteWhat is "reclaimed Colorfix"? Just colorfix that you are reusing? I did most of my 30/30 on gatorboard with a pumice ground. Interesting to create surfaces, they don't always work, but it's fun to try out new tings. I find it amazing how different a painting will look on a different surface.
I have just discovered your videos... now I will never get my paintings done!
Hi Cris, yes, by reclaimed colourfix I just mean I have washed it off and started a new painting - you never get all the old colour off but that is half the fun when starting a new piece. I just checked out your blog, I don't know how I missed it in the 30/30, your work is lovely! :)
