    Almost magical. Beautiful colors and a sense of anticipation. I have to wonder what inspired this painting?

      Thankyou Julie! Actually it was inspired by a photo I found on a families travel blog, I must remember to Attribute the photo for which they very kindly gave me permission to use. Of course this looks nothing like the photo! The photo really captured the essence of these gnarled old trees and the hardships they endure, and how nature's forces sculpt the tree, so I hope that my rendition did it justice :)
